On 13 November 2025, a Media Literacy Days event was held as part of the ThinkTwice project, gathering educators, community members, and several policymakers to explore the importance of media literacy in today’s rapidly changing information environment. The event created a dynamic space for learning, exchange, and collaboration among participants from different educational and social sectors.
The programme began with a presentation of the ThinkTwice project and its aims, highlighting the initiative’s focus on strengthening critical thinking and promoting responsible engagement with digital information. Participants were introduced to the project’s goals, ongoing activities, and its relevance to media literacy education.
A central part of the event was the introduction of the media literacy tools and resources developed within the ThinkTwice project. These materials were presented through demonstrations and explanations of how they can be used in various educational settings to support learners of different ages.
Following the presentations, attendees engaged in practical activities designed to showcase effective methods for teaching and applying media literacy skills. These sessions encouraged active participation and allowed educators and community members to experience the tools firsthand.
The event continued with discussions and networking, offering participants an opportunity to exchange perspectives, share experiences, and consider how ThinkTwice resources can be integrated into their work. The diverse backgrounds of the attendees enriched the conversations and contributed to a broader understanding of media literacy challenges and needs.
To conclude the day, participants provided feedback and evaluation, offering constructive insights that will support the continuous improvement of the ThinkTwice project and its educational materials.
