On June 19, 2025, the city of Kaunas hosted a dynamic and insightful Media Literacy Day, bringing together teachers, school leaders, and education professionals from across Lithuania. Organized by the Baltic Institute of Educational Technologies, the event aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of media literacy and equip them with practical tools and methods for classroom implementation.

One of the highlights was the presentation of the “ThinkTwice” project, which showcased innovative media literacy tools and resources. The participants showed great interest in the project, especially in the educational game that promotes critical thinking and media analysis. Many teachers expressed their enthusiasm and said they plan to introduce the game to their students in the upcoming school year.

This was followed by hands-on sessions exploring practical teaching methods and the use of the “World Café” approach to encourage collaboration and dialogue in media literacy education.

Participants also had the opportunity to engage in discussions on network building and share best practices during dedicated reflection sessions. The event concluded with a lively Q&A and a summary of key takeaways.
