The first French stakeholder meeting for the Think Twice project took place on 6 October 2025, bringing together a dedicated group of six professionals from GIP-FIPAN, an organisation deeply involved in vocational training and lifelong learning in the Académie de Nice. Thanks to preparatory exchanges held throughout August and September, participants arrived well-prepared, having already explored the Think Ahead Guide and reflected on its potential relevance for their programmes.
The session began with an overview of the Think Twice project and a presentation of the Think Ahead Guide, emphasising its close correspondence with European reference frameworks such as DigCompOrg and SELFIE. Participants immediately acknowledged these links and observed that the Guide fits well within current national priorities for digital transformation and staff development. The discussion soon became dynamic, with attendees drawing on their experience in continuing education, apprenticeship programmes, and digital innovation. They commended the Guide for its clarity and well-structured content, while also suggesting ways to enhance its relevance for the French educational landscape.
The meeting ended on a positive and constructive note. Attendees expressed genuine interest in trying out the Guide through pilot activities, offering input for future adaptations, and supporting its wider rollout within the Académie de Nice. Altogether, this first stakeholder gathering in France created a strong basis for continued collaboration and highlighted the Guide’s promise as a useful resource for advancing media and digital literacy in education.
