On June 18, 2025, the Université Côte d’Azur in Nice became a hub of innovation and critical thinking as educators, students, and digital experts gathered for the first Media Literacy Day, part of the Think Twice project. Organized by Syncnify during International Digital Week, the event highlighted how media literacy and digital transformation are reshaping higher education across Europe.
Delivered face-to-face within the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on Digital Transformation in Higher Education, the event drew more than 87 participants from over 20 countries. Through lively sessions and interactive workshops, participants explored how media literacy can be deepened through gamification, modular learning, and immersive digital tools.
The day featured two core sessions: “Media Literacy and Virtual Spaces” and “Digital Environments in Education.” Both used Think Twice as a case study to demonstrate how educators can integrate critical media awareness into digital classrooms. Alongside these sessions, informal networking and info stands created space for vibrant exchanges, collaboration, and shared discovery.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Participants praised the event’s practical focus, interdisciplinary approach, and international scope. Many expressed enthusiasm to adapt ThinkTwice’s innovative tools in their own institutions, proving that media literacy is not just a topic of discussion, but a movement shaping the future of digital education.
